Bensalem, PA – March 17, 2021 – Pennsylvania Dermatology Partners announced today the opening of its newest office, and their second in Bensalem, located at 3101 Bristol Road.
Offering medical and cosmetic dermatology services to the community, the opening of this office marks Pennsylvania Dermatology Partners’ twenty-second location.
“We’re very pleased with the work we’ve done to renovate the space after Dr. Huhn’s retirement earlier this year. It’s important to us to not only deliver excellent patient care, but to do so in a warm and welcoming environment,” said Andrew Frankel, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Pennsylvania Dermatology Partners.
The Pennsylvania Dermatology Partners team on Bristol Road, Bensalem will be led by Jennifer David, DO, a board-certified dermatologist offering all things medical dermatology, cutaneous surgery, and cosmetics such as Dysport, fillers, and chemical peels. Dr. David’s specialties include treating skin of color and helping patients create acne treatment plans.
A Bucks County native, Dr. Jennifer David is a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in medical anthropology. She holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. While in medical school she also earned a Master of Business Administration from St. Joseph’s University, where she concentrated in healthcare management. She completed a research fellowship with her mentor Dr. Susan Taylor, MD where she honed her passion learning the intricacies and nuances in treating skin of color. She then completed her residency training at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, Florida where she served as chief resident in her final year. Throughout her training she remained active in research, publishing numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals in addition to co-authorship in chapters for dermatology textbooks.
Dr. David is an active participant in the dermatology community, holding memberships and leadership roles in the Women’s Dermatology Society, American Academy of Dermatology, The American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and Skin of Color Society, where she currently serves as chair of the patient education committee.
She takes a comprehensive approach to patient care, taking the time to fully understand her patients’ needs before recommending treatment.
“After doing my residency in Miami, Florida and treating patients in Texas and New Jersey, I am very excited to return to my hometown and serve the community of Bensalem. I approach each patient’s visit with a commitment to actively listening to fully understand that person’s needs. I look at the pictures they show me, listen to treatments they may have tried, and try to find a way to bring them in as an active participant in their own care. It’s important for me to take the time to fully understand the situation.”
